Share Markups to keep your group coordinated.

When you share Markups with links, the recipient can view the Markup on their map and in their My Content Menu, but they will not be able to edit or share the Markup. After Sharing a Markup with a link, you can unshare it whenever you want.

NOTE: Some cell carriers block links sent through SMS/text. If you experience any problems, please try sharing through email.

Sharing Markups using links only works when connected to wifi or mobile data, but you can also share Markups outside the cell network using Share Nearby. Click here to learn more about using Share Nearby.

Sharing Markups in the onX Hunt App

Tap the Markup on your map, then tap "Share" at the bottom of the info card.

Select "Share with a Link," then tap the Next button at the bottom of the screen.

You can also share multiple Markups (up to 100 at a time) from the My Content Menu. Tap the "Select" button at the top of the My Content Menu.

Swipe the "Select Content" card up.

Tap the checkboxes next to the Markups you want to share, then tap the "Share" button at the bottom of the screen. You can share up to 100 Markups in each batch.

A menu of messaging apps will appear on your screen. We recommend sharing through text message or email. You will send the other onX Hunt user a link through the messaging app you selected. When the other user taps the link, it will add the Markup to their account.

If you edit a Markup in your account, the changes will show up on the Markup in the other user's account. The user you share the Markup with cannot edit the Markup.

Removing a shared Markup from other user accounts:

Tap the "Edit" button at the bottom of the Markup's info card.

Swipe the card up, and swipe up inside the card until you reach the bottom.

Tap the right arrow next to "Shared with."

Tap the checkbox next to the user, then tap the "Unshare" button. To unshare with everyone at once, tap "Select All," then tap the "Unshare" button, or tap the three dots in the upper right corner and tap "Unshare With All."

Sharing Markup Folders in the onX Hunt App

Open the My Content Menu.

Tap the Folder you want to share.

Tap "Share" in the row of buttons at the bottom of the screen.

A menu of messaging apps will appear on your screen. We recommend sharing through text message or email. You will send the other onX Hunt user a link through the messaging app you selected. When the other user taps the link, it will add the Folder to their account.

If you edit a Folder in your account, the changes will show up on the Folder in the other user's account. The user you share the Folder with cannot edit or share the Folder.

Tap the right arrow next to "Shared with."

To share a Markup, click the Markup on your map, then click "Share" on the info card.

You can also share multiple Markups (up to 100 at a time) from the My Content Menu. Choose a Markup Type (All Content, Waypoints, Areas, Tracks, Lines, or Routes), then click the "Select" button at the top of the Markup Type Menu.

Click the checkboxes next to the Markups, then click the "Share" button at the bottom of the menu. You can share up to 100 Markups in each batch.

Copy the link into an email and send it to the other user. When they click the link, it will add the Markups to their account.
