About the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation
Since its founding in the mid-1980s, RMEF has grown to nearly 235,000 members. Their support has helped complete more than 12,400 conservation and hunting heritage projects, protecting or enhancing more than 7.9 million acres of wildlife habitat and opening or improving public access to more than 1.3 million acres. RMEF has more than 12,000 volunteers working through more than 500 chapters across the country.
