Use the Import and Export features to back up your Markups, send them to other users, or transfer data from other mapping programs or onX products.
Imports and exports use GPX or KML file formats.
Note: Import files must be GPX or KML format, 4 MB or less, and contain no more than 3,000 Markups. KMZ files and Shapefiles can't be imported. A paid Membership is required to import.
How to import Markups into the Hunt App

Tap the My Content button at the bottom of the map screen.

Tap Import at the top of the menu.
- Select the GPX file you want to import from your device's local files.
Note: KML imports/exports aren't supported from the mobile App. Use the Web Map to import or export KML files.
How to export Markups from the Hunt App
Tip: Export Tracks as GPX files—exporting as KML will convert them into Lines. Export Lines and Area Shapes as KML files—exporting as GPX will convert them into Tracks.
- Open the My Content menu and tap Select.

Tap the checkboxes next to the Markups you want to export.

Swipe left on the bottom row of buttons and tap Export to save the file to your device.
Tip: iPhone and iPad users can also export an entire Folder at once. Tap the Folder, swipe left on the bottom row of buttons, and tap Export. Folder exports are only available on iOS.
How to import and export Markups from the Web Map
Log in at webmap.onXmaps.com/hunt/login and click the My Content button on the left side of the screen.
To import:
- Click Import > Select from computer.
- Select the GPX or KML file you want to import.
- Click Import.
Note: If your imported Markups don't appear right away, refresh your browser.
To export:
- Click Select and check the boxes next to the Markups you want to export, or click Select All.
- Click Export and save the file as GPX or KML.
Tip: Turn on Filter list as map moves and click Select All to quickly select all Markups in a specific area.
