How to access an onX account linked to your AppleID or Facebook

If you've signed in to onX Hunt using Apple or Facebook, your account credentials are tied to that third-party account rather than a standard email and password. This can sometimes result in two separate onX accounts—one linked to Apple or Facebook, and one created separately with a different email. This article explains how to find the email address associated with each.

Accounts linked to Apple

If you used Continue with Apple when signing up, your onX account may be linked to one of two Apple email types:

• Private Relay email: a string of random letters and numbers ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com.
• Hide My Email: a randomized alias ending in @icloud.com.

To find which email is linked to your onX account:

On iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Settings App and tap your name at the top of the screen.
2. Tap Sign in with Apple.
3. Select onX Hunt or Identity Service Platform from the list of Apps and Websites.
4. The associated email will be shown.

On a desktop or laptop:

1. Log in at account.apple.com.
2. Go to the Sign in & Security tab and click Sign in with Apple.
3. Select onX Hunt or Identity Service Platform.
4. The encrypted email will be listed under Hide My Email.

Once you've identified the email, use Continue with Apple to sign in to that account.

Accounts linked to Facebook

If you used Continue with Facebook when signing up, your onX account is linked to the email address on your Facebook account. To find it:

From the Facebook mobile App:

1. Tap the Menu button in the lower-left corner.
2. Tap Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Scroll to Your Activity and tap Apps and websites.
4. Tap onX Hunt if it appears in the list.

From a desktop or laptop:

1. Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
2. Click Settings & Privacy > Settings.
3. Scroll to Your Activity in the left menu and click Apps and websites.
4. Locate onX Hunt and click View and Edit.

The email address used to create the onX account will be shown along with the date it was linked and whether the accounts are still connected. If they are, use Continue with Facebook to sign in to the Hunt App.
