If you've forgotten your onX password or need to reset it to recover your account, you can do so from the login screen in the onX Hunt App or on the Web Map. All you'll need is the email address associated with your onX account.
How to reset your password
- On the login screen, tap or click Forgot your password?
- Enter the email address associated with your onX account and tap or click Continue.
- If an account exists for that email, you'll receive an email with a six-digit recovery code.
- Enter the six-digit code when prompted and tap or click Continue.
- Enter your new password and tap or click Continue to save it.
Heads up: Your security code is valid for 15 minutes. If you don't receive an email, check your spam folder and make sure you're using the email address associated with your onX account.
Not receiving the recovery email?
If the recovery email isn't in your inbox or spam folder after 10 minutes, your account may be linked to a different email address. Try resetting your password using any other addresses you have access to, including:
- Old email addresses you no longer use regularly
- Work email addresses from current or past employers
- A friend's or family member's email if they've ever used your device

Note: If you can't find the reset email in any inbox, there may be a typo in the email address on your account.
