Range Radius adds a circle of a set size around a point on your map, making it easy to judge distance between map features—for example, gauging shot distance from a Waypoint or checking how far a parcel boundary is from your location. You can set a Range Radius in yards or miles on a Waypoint in the onX Hunt App or Web Map.
The Web Map also lets you add a Range Radius at any location on the map, not just a saved Waypoint.
Creating a Range Radius on a Waypoint
Select a Waypoint on your map or from the My Content menu to open its info card.
Swipe the Waypoint info card up to view the Waypoint tools.
Tap Range Radius.
Choose Yards or Miles, then drag the scroller to set a radius, or tap inside the box at the center of the scroller to enter a radius manually. Tap Apply to view it on the map.
To remove a Range Radius, tap the Waypoint on your map, then tap the slider on the Range Radius tool.
Creating a Range Radius at any location in the Web Map
The Web Map allows you to set a Range Radius at any location as well as on a Waypoint.
Click any location on the map, then click the Range Radius tab at the top of the info card.
Choose Yards or Miles, then type your desired radius in the text box. Click Apply to view it on the map.
