Map Layers contain information you can show or hide on your map, like Private and Government Lands, Hunting units, private land access programs, and more. Map Layers are grouped into Folders for each state in the US, Canada, and several other Folders for nationwide Layers.

Using Map Layers in the onX Hunt App

Tap the Map Layers Button in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen to open the Map Layers Menu.

Tap a Folder to open it.

The switches on the right show you which Map Layers are turned on. Tap the switches to turn them on or off. Many Layers will not be visible on the map until you zoom in close to the ground.

If you have an onX Hunt Elite Membership, scroll down to turn on additional states.

After you turn on a state, it will move to the top of the list.

If a Layer has additional settings, like changing units on the GMUs Layer, tap "View Options" or "Options & Details" underneath the Layer's name.

Tap a switch to change species.

Click the Map Layers button on the left side of the screen to open the Map Layers Menu.

Click a folder to open it.

Click "Details" underneath a Map Layer's name to view the Layer's options.
