You can share Markups (Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Area Shapes, or Tracks) you've created with other onX Hunt users from the Hunt App or Web Map when you have service with a share link.
Shared Markups sync automatically to the recipient’s account as View-only. Recipients need an onX Hunt account to receive shared Markups, but can’t edit or share them.
Any updates you make to shared Markups will sync to recipients' devices when connected to the internet, and you can remove their access at any time.
Select Markups to Share
To select a single Markup,
- Click or tap a Markup on your map.
- Click or tap the Share button at the bottom of the info card.
To select multiple Markups (up to 100), open the My Content menu and tap Select.
- Click or tap Select All in Frame to select all visible Markups, or
- Swipe the menu up to select Markups in the My Content menu.
- Click or tap Share.
Share with a Link
[Mobile & Web] [Online only]
Once you've selected the Markups you'd like to share, you can choose between sharing them with a link (URL) or via Nearby Share.
Share with a Link gives you control — you decide who can see the Markups and can remove access later.
- Click or tap Share with a Link
- Select your preferred messaging app to send it to another user, or
- Copy the URL and paste it into a message or email.
- Have the recipient click the link to import it into their onX Hunt account with View-only access.
If you click a Share link you created, you'll get an error message because the Markups are already in your account.
Use the Share Nearby feature to send Markups without internet connectivity.
Share Nearby sends a copy of the selected Markup(s) directly to the recipient. They’ll have their own version that you can’t edit or control access to.
Share Markups with Folders
