Hunt Areas let you group multiple private land parcels and Markups into a single organized location in your My Content menu—making it easy to plan, reference, and share property and hunting information with other onX Hunt users.
Create a Hunt Area
Open the My Content menu and tap Create Hunt Area.
- Tap private land parcels to add them to the Hunt Area.
- Check or uncheck the box to include Markups located within the area boundary.
- Tap Save to create the Hunt Area, or tap Next to add details or adjust the style and color before saving.
To view the Markups and parcels in a Hunt Area, tap it and select the Content or Private Land tabs.
Add and remove Markups and parcels
Markups
Tap a Hunt Area, swipe left on the options at the bottom of the menu, and tap Manage Content.
- Tap any Markup to add or remove it from the Hunt Area.
- Swipe the menu up to select Markups from your My Content list.
If you've already created at least one Hunt Area, you can also add a Markup by selecting it and tapping Add to Hunt Area.
Private Land parcels
Tap a Hunt Area, tap Edit, and select the Private Land tab.
- Tap Add New Parcels to Hunt Area to add more parcels.
- Tap any parcel on the map to add it to the Hunt Area.
- Swipe the menu up and tap the minus (−) symbol next to a parcel to remove it.
Sharing Hunt Areas
Tap a Hunt Area and tap Share. Select your preferred messaging App or copy the link URL and send it to the recipient. Once they tap the link, the Hunt Area and all associated parcels and Markups will import into their account.
After sharing, you can continue to add or remove content and parcels—recipients can tap Refresh to see your changes. Tap Shared with to manage access permissions.
