You can share Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Area Shapes, and Tracks with other onX Hunt users from the Hunt App or Web Map when you have an internet connection.
Shared Markups sync to the recipient's account as View-only—recipients need an onX Hunt account to receive them but can't edit or share them. Any updates you make sync to recipients' devices automatically, and you can remove their access at any time.
Select Markups to share
To share a single Markup, tap it on the map and tap Share at the bottom of the info card.
To share multiple Markups (up to 100), open the My Content menu and tap Select.
- Tap Select All in Frame to select all visible Markups, or swipe the menu up to select individual Markups from the list.
- Tap Share.
Share with a link
After selecting your Markups, tap Share with a Link. Select a messaging app to send it directly, or copy the URL and paste it into a message or email. The recipient taps the link to import the Markups into their onX Hunt account with View-only access.
Use the Share Nearby feature to send Markups without an internet connection. Share Nearby sends a direct copy to the recipient—you won't be able to edit it or control their access after sending.
Share Markups with Folders
Use Folders to share up to 100 Markups at once. Tap a Folder in your My Content menu, tap the Share button, and set the sharing permission.
- View-only: recipients can view contents but can't add, edit, or share them.
- Contribute: recipients can view and add Markups but can't edit or share existing contents.
Managing access
To manage access for a single shared Markup, select it from the My Content menu or on the map, swipe the info card up, and tap Shared with.
To manage access for a shared Folder, tap the ellipsis to the right of the Folder name and tap Manage Access to add contributors, update permissions, or remove access.
