You can share Markups (Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Area Shapes, or Tracks) you've created with other onX Hunt users from the Hunt App or Web Map.
Shared Markups sync automatically to the recipient’s account as View-only. Recipients need an onX Hunt account to receive shared Markups, but can’t edit or re-share them.
Any updates you make to shared Markups will sync to recipients' devices when connected to the internet, and you can remove their access at any time.

Share Links and Nearby Sharing
Once you've selected the Markups you'd like to share, you can choose between sharing them with a link (URL) or with the Nearby Sharing feature (requires both users to have the same device type, Android or iOS).
Sharing with a Link
[Mobile & Web] [Online]
- Click or tap Share with a Link
- Select your preferred messaging app to send it to another user, or
- Copy the URL and paste it into a message or email.
- Have the recipient click the link to import it into their onX Hunt account with View-only access.
If you click a Share link you've created, you'll get an error message because the Markups are already in your account.
Nearby Sharing
[Mobile only] [Online & Offline]
Both users must have the same device type (both Android, or both iOS) to use Nearby Sharing.
After you've selected your Markups, tap Share Nearby and tap Next.
Then, on their own device, have the recipient:
- Open the My Content menu.
- Tap the three dots in the upper right corner.
- Select Share Nearby.
