How often is parcel data updated?
We update Private and Government land data every one to two years, relying on counties and local data sources to keep their records current. If you notice something you believe is incorrect, learn how to report a map error in onX Hunt.
How accurate are parcel boundaries?
Property boundaries are typically accurate within 20 feet, depending on the county.

How often is the satellite imagery updated?
Satellite imagery is four years old on average. It's intended to give you a general sense of the terrain but doesn't necessarily reflect current conditions and may not show recent changes to land or structures. Learn more about our Satellite Imagery.
How accurate is my location, elevation, and the Tracker?
Accuracy depends on the GPS sensitivity of your smartphone or tablet—typically within 10-15 feet.
What coordinate datum does onX use?
All onX products use the World Geodetic System 1984 (WGS 84), a three-dimensional coordinate reference frame used to establish latitude, longitude, and elevation for navigation purposes.
