Markups let you save important spots, plan routes, measure distances, and track your steps in the field—all without cell service. Waypoints, Lines, Area Shapes, Routes, and Tracks are all types of Markups and are saved to your account in the My Content menu.
Waypoints
Save a Waypoint anywhere by tapping on the map and selecting Add Waypoint at the bottom of the info card. You can also access Waypoint tools from the Tools menu:
- Add Waypoint: drops a Waypoint at the center of your screen. Turn on the crosshair indicator in your App settings to fine-tune placement.
- Mark Location: instantly drops and saves a Waypoint at your current physical location.
Tracker
The Tracker records your path in real time as you move through the field.
- Tap Go & Track from the bottom toolbar and tap Start.
- The App draws your path as you move. Don't close the App while recording—minimizing it is fine. Tap Pause to stop temporarily.
- Tap Stop > Save to save the Track.
Route Builder
Create a Route by tapping the Tools icon and selecting Build Route.
- Select Snap To to add points that snap to roads and trails automatically.
- Switch to Point Draw if the route is snapping to the wrong road or trail.
Lines and Area Shapes
Measure distances and areas from the Tools menu. Select Line or Area Shape, then tap on the map to drop points or use Drop Point to place them precisely with a crosshair indicator.
Lines
Drop two or more points to measure the distance between them. Distance is calculated point-to-point and displayed in yards/miles or meters/kilometers.
Area Shapes
Drop three or more points to measure an area in acres or square kilometers, depending on your unit of measurement setting.
