Use Share Nearby to send up to 100 Markups—Waypoints, Routes, Lines, Shapes, and Tracks—to another onX Hunt user without Wi-Fi or cell signal. The recipient gets a copy they can edit and share, just like one they created themselves.
This feature only works:
- iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android
- When both devices are within about 3 feet (1 meter)
To send a view-only version you can revoke access to later, share a link instead.

Sending Markups using Share Nearby
You can use the Share Nearby feature to send up to 100 Markups at a time to the same device type (iOS or Android) without any cell service.
To share a single Markup:
- Tap a Markup on your map or your My Content menu.
- Tap Share from the bottom menu.
To share up to 100 Markups:
- Open the My Content menu and tap Select.
- Check the box next to each Markup you'd like to share.
- Tap Share from the bottom menu.
Select Share Nearby and tap Next.
Select the recipient's device on the following screen to send the Markup(s).
Tip: if the Share button can't be clicked, you may have selected a Markup that someone link-shared with you—look for "Shared by" underneath a Markup name to see if this is the case. You'll need to de-select it before you can share your selection.
