First, make sure your version of the onX Hunt App is up to date. Click here to learn how to update your onX Hunt App version.
You may not be able to see private land borders and landowner information at all times. Private lands and other information can be turned on or off using the Map Layers Menu, and may only be visible at certain zoom levels.
Double-check the Map Layers Menu to make sure the Private Lands Layer is turned on. Click here to learn how to use the Map Layers Menu.
If the Private Lands Layer is turned on but you're still not seeing the information on your map, let's check that the map is in the right position and at the right zoom level.
Pinch two fingers together on the screen to zoom out until you can see the outlines of the states.
Next, spread your fingers apart while centered on the state you have turned on in the My Layers Menu to zoom in. Most private land won't be visible until you zoom in to about 1 mile.
If your app version is up to date, the Private Lands Layer is turned on, and you're zoomed in close enough in the right area, you may be looking at an area with no Private Landowner information. Due to differing state regulations and availability of data, we currently do not have complete coverage for every county and township. Click here to look the county up on our county coverage map.
When landowner data for the area becomes available, we will make every effort to include it in future updates.
