If private land boundaries and landowner information aren't showing on your map in the onX Hunt App, there are a few common causes. Work through the steps below to find out why.
Make sure the App is up to date
Some features may not display correctly if the App hasn't been updated recently. Learn how to update the onX Hunt App.
Check that the Private Lands layer is turned on
Private land boundaries can be turned on or off in the Map Layers menu. Open the Map Layers menu and confirm the Private Lands layer is enabled. Learn how to use the Map Layers menu.
Zoom in
Private land boundaries aren't visible at all zoom levels. Zoom out until you can see the state outlines, then zoom in on the state you have selected in your Map Layers menu. Most private land boundaries won't appear until you're zoomed in to approximately a one-mile view.
Check our county coverage map
If your App is up to date, the Private Lands layer is on, and you're zoomed in to the right area but still not seeing boundaries, the area you're looking at may not have landowner data available yet. Due to varying state regulations and data availability, we don't have complete coverage for every county and township. Check our county coverage map.
When landowner data becomes available for an area, we'll make every effort to include it in a future update.
